It was a lucky day when Clare, Star and Lisheen arrived at their new home, nestled in the Shenandoah Valley between the Blue Ridge and the Allegheny Mountains. From Clononeen Farm in Ireland, they were already accustomed to the old-world charm of our farm, established in 1850. Home of the Glendale Farm Connemaras, our verdant pastures provide a lush diet for our horses. We shower them with tender loving care, enjoying their natural gentle nature as we nurture the horses toward their eventual jobs and families.
